Film from the 1912 Olympic Marathon

For the first time ever, you can see film on the internet from the 1912 Olympic Marathon. This unique film sequence is 4 minutes long.

 First it shows the start in Stockholm Stadium then we see the runners at Stocksund after about 5km followed by pictures from the turning point at Sollentuna Church after 20.1 km.
After that we see the runners at Stocksund on the way back after about 35km. and finally there are scenes from the finish in Stockholms Olympic Stadium.
